Does it work with CarPlay and Android Auto? Yes — USB 3.1 carries data as well as power, so wired CarPlay and Android Auto both work.
Will it charge my laptop? Yes, up to 100W. Confirm the e-marker chip if you're charging a MacBook Pro at full speed — our Essager 100W cable states it explicitly.
Does it stay stretched? No, it springs back. That's the point — it holds whatever length you need while in use and retracts when you unplug.
