Why hydrogel instead of tempered glass on a Galaxy? Curved screens. Glass can't bend, so it either covers the flat centre only or lifts at the edges. Hydrogel follows the curve and stays put.
Does it work with the fingerprint sensor? Yes. Hydrogel is thin enough for in-display ultrasonic and optical sensors. You may need to re-register your fingerprint after fitting.
Will it fit under my case? Yes — it's flush to the frame with no raised edge.
How do I install it without bubbles? Clean with the wipe, lift dust with the sticker, lay the film from the top and work bubbles out with the squeegee. Small bubbles usually settle within 24 hours as the film bonds.
Is it as scratch-resistant as glass? No — hydrogel is softer, so keys and sand can mark it more easily. That's the trade-off for full curved coverage, and it's why you get five in the pack.
