Does it make my screen darker? Slightly, yes. That's how the privacy filter works — it blocks light at an angle. Most people turn brightness up a notch and stop noticing. If screen brightness matters more to you than privacy, our standard tempered glass is the better choice.
Can I still watch videos with someone next to me? Not comfortably — they'd need to be sitting almost directly behind you. This is built for privacy, so shared viewing is the trade-off.
Does it work in landscape? The filter blocks the left and right of your viewing position, so it works in portrait. Rotate to landscape and the privacy effect shifts to top and bottom — still private from the sides in most seated positions.
Does Face ID still work? Yes, normally.
